- The sets will fit tables from 80cm wide, with a maximum net width of 140cm.
- Made by hand from FSC certified plywood, with stainless steel fixings.
- The angles of the flaps are adjustable. Go more vertical for faster play, or closer to 45 degrees for a slower game.
- The Tabel set is designed to sit on your dining table. It holds itself in place through gravity, and is not attached to the table. If you bang into it, it'll move.
Will Tabel work in your room?
- Standard dining tables are 90cm, but check yours before you order. The minimum width is 80cm. It also works well to play on half a table tennis table.
- Don't worry if you have an uneven dining table surface - it just adds to the fun.
- You can play in carpeted rooms, but for maximum chaos a hard floor is preferable.
- Ideally you'll want to be able to fit someone at each end of your dining table. About a metre is plenty of space
- Walls behind players and around the court add to the game if you decide it's ok to play off those walls.
- If your room doesn't work to play lengthways, you can play 'across' a dining table, with a short, wide court. This is harder to play, but it works. You will have some flap overhanging the edge of the table if the table is less than 110cm wide.
